At LD:NorthEast, our Therapeutic Activities are designed to support people's overall wellbeing, confidence and sense of belonging. Each session provides a safe, friendly space to try new things, develop skills and build meaningful friendships. From digital inclusion to arts and crafts, gardening, music and more, our activities promote creativity, connection and positive mental health — all while having fun together.

Monday Afternoon
Using technology to connect, learn and explore the digital world in a safe, supportive environment.
Arts & Crafts
Mondays & Wednesdays
Creative sessions exploring painting, crafts and art to build confidence and express yourself.
Digital History
Tuesday Morning
Exploring local and personal history using digital tools, photos and online archives.
Walking Group
Tuesday Afternoon
Regular walks in the local area to keep active, enjoy nature and spend time with friends.
Gardening
Thursday Afternoon
Hands-on gardening sessions promoting wellbeing, teamwork and connection with the outdoors.
Knit & Knatter
Friday Morning
A relaxed social group combining craft with great conversation — all abilities welcome.
Northern Notes Choir
Friday Afternoon
Singing together for fun and wellbeing — no experience needed, just bring your voice!
