Fundraise for Us
Donate
Every donation, no matter the size, helps the people we support live the life they choose. Your contribution funds the activities, friendships and one-to-one support that mean someone doesn’t spend their day alone.
We’re a registered charity (No. 1054535) and every pound is reinvested into our community in North Tyneside.
Fundraising Inspiration
Need some inspiration for fundraising? Here are a few events we’ve run in the past.
Sponsored Walk
Why not organise a sponsored walk and get everyone involved?
We’ve supported several groups with this idea, including a fantastic route from St James’ Park to our office in Wallsend.
Stalls, Tombola’s and Raffles
If you have items that would make great raffle prizes, consider setting up a stall at a local event.
Fundraising Resources
Our fundraising resource pack includes everything needed to support your event for LD:NorthEast. It features an “About Us” guide, a sponsorship form, and admission ticket templates, as well as a “Where Your Money Goes” document to show the impact of donations.
You’ll also find a collection tin template for gathering funds and bunting to help decorate and promote your event. Together, these materials make it easy to plan, run, and maximise your fundraising efforts.
Fundraising Tips
These fundraising tips are designed to help you make the most of your efforts. Setting up a JustGiving page allows you to share your story and makes it easy for others to donate, while setting a clear target can motivate both you and your supporters.
Spreading the word is key, use social media, posters, and conversations to raise awareness and encourage donations. Working as a team by involving friends, family, and colleagues can also help boost your impact and make the experience more enjoyable.
You can further enhance your fundraising by organising events such as bake sales, coffee mornings, or sponsored activities. Remember to thank everyone who supports you, as showing appreciation goes a long way.
Most importantly, have fun and enjoy the journey, knowing that support and guidance are always available along the way.
